1. Information we collect
Wallet Loyalty may collect information that businesses and their customers provide when using the service, including names, email addresses, phone numbers, loyalty account identifiers, reward activity, points balances, transaction-related loyalty records, and account information.
For business accounts, we may also process store information, employee account details, role information, billing contact information, and service configuration details.
We may automatically receive technical information such as device, browser, IP address, authentication, security, and service-usage information needed to operate and protect the platform.
2. How we use information
We use information to provide and maintain the Wallet Loyalty service, manage loyalty accounts and rewards, authenticate users, support Apple Wallet and Google Wallet features, process authorized billing activity, improve reliability, prevent fraud or misuse, troubleshoot problems, and provide customer support.
3. Payments
Payment card details are handled by our payment processor and are not intended to be stored directly in the Wallet Loyalty database. Wallet Loyalty may retain limited payment-related information such as processor customer or payment-method identifiers, card brand, last four digits, expiration information, billing contact information, and charge history.
4. Service providers
We may use third-party service providers to host, secure, authenticate, process payments, deliver wallet passes, send communications, and operate the platform. These providers may process information only as necessary to perform services for Wallet Loyalty or as otherwise permitted by their terms and applicable law.
5. How information is shared
We do not sell personal information to advertisers. Information may be shared with the business whose loyalty program a customer joined, with service providers that help operate Wallet Loyalty, when required by law, or when reasonably necessary to protect the rights, security, and integrity of users, businesses, or the platform.
6. Data separation and access
Wallet Loyalty is designed so participating businesses access information associated with their own store or organization. Access within a business may also depend on assigned roles such as owner, manager, or employee. Platform administrators may access information when necessary to administer, secure, support, or maintain the service.
7. Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, maintain business and loyalty records, meet legal or accounting obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and enforce agreements. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the reason it is maintained.
8. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect information. No online service or storage system can guarantee absolute security, so users should also protect their login credentials and devices.
9. Your choices and privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal information, or to receive information about how it is processed. Some loyalty information is controlled by the participating business, so certain requests may need to be handled by that business.
To make a privacy request, contact Wallet Loyalty through the support contact made available through the service. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
10. Children
Wallet Loyalty is intended for businesses and their customers and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without appropriate authorization. If you believe a child has provided personal information improperly, contact us so the matter can be reviewed.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the service changes. When we make material changes, we may update the effective date and provide additional notice when appropriate.
